There is not much that gets me more excited than finding a bargain. I don't know why I don't spend more time in thrift stores.
I have read a couple of really good articles lately about thrift stores, so I decided to stop by the local Goodwill today. If BK wasn't tired and hungry, I would have stayed in there much longer, but I did manage to get some deals.
In case you can't tell from the photo, here is what I ended up with:
1 pair black jeans
1 blue jean overall dress
1 pair blue jean shorts
1 t-shirt (with a blinking light - BK picked that one out!)
1 pull-over shirt
1 button-up shirt
1 blue-jean jacket
All are in great shape. How much did I spend? I'm so glad you asked....
$4.00!

have gotten to where i shop almost exclusively consignment... what i don't make for caleb. i never find much at the thrift store, but i'll have to check it out!
Now if we could just find clothing in our size for $4.00!!
Deanna, if you have the patience to wade through the clothes, I'm convinced that you can find deals. While I was there yesterday, I noticed that there were even several long racks of women's clothes marked down to 50 cents. Problem is, they are not separated by size, so that's where the patience comes in. I just think of it like a treasure hunt. : )
